Iran began withdrawing from its commitments to the 2015 historic nuclear deal in 2019, a year after US President Donald Trump withdrew from the agreement and imposed crippling sanctions on the country.
In the last month, many new violations of the protocol were noted by the International Atomic Energy Organization.
Iran had started the use of Uranium Hexafluoride gas in its Natanz facility earlier in this week.
Western intelligence agencies suspect that Fakhrizadeh is behind Iran’s secret nuclear weapons programme.
